Nature Publication by Ostrom Workshoppers in the Food and Agrarian Program
A group of Ostrom Workshoppers from the Food and Agrarian Systems Program have a new publication in the journal Nature. Eduardo S. Brondizio, Stacey A. Giroux, Julia C. D. Valliant, Jordan Blekking, Stephanie Dickinson, and Beate Henschel discuss, "Halting the loss of jobs and knowledge from small-scale producers requires investing in rural sustainability, addresing poverty and inequity and ensuring the economic gains stay local. The benefits would be shared globally." Indiana University launches space law courses, satellite cybersecurity program
Eytan Tepper of the Ostrom Workshop and the IU Space Governance Policy Lab are profiled in the Bloomington local paper, The Herald Times. "Interested in combatting cyber attacks waging on over 22,000 miles above your head? How about learning how to become a space lawyer (yes, that's a real thing)? FES Elinor Ostrom Award 2023 Nominees
The Foundation for Ecological Security (FES) Announced their final contenders for the Elinor Ostrom Award. They included practitioners and scholars working for the betterment of Commons across the world. The Ostrom Workshop Executive Director Scott Shackelford is among those in the running.
