IU Cybersecurity Scholarship Program (IUCSP)

CyberCorps Scholarship for Service (SFS) Grant

The IUCSP CyberCorps Scholarship for Service is designed to recruit and train the next generation of cybersecurity professionals to meet the needs of Federal, State, local, and tribal governments. This program provides two years of support to cybersecurity undergraduate and graduate (MS or PhD) scholars funded through grants awarded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). In return for this financial support, recipients must agree to work for the U.S. Government after graduation in a cybersecurity-related position for two years.

Scholarship recipients receive:

Two years of support
Academic-year stipends
Tuition & education fees
Professional allowance for travel, professional certification, etc.
Faculty mentorship
Dedicated job fairs

Please Note: This is not a degree program and this is not a cybersecurity degree.

Instead, this is a scholarship program providing support for students earning a degree in an academic program that will result in sufficient cybersecurity training to be hired into a governmental cybersecurity position. Applying for the scholarship is separate from applying for any academic program.
