Overall Requirements
- Be enrolled in an eligible degree program by the time of acceptance.
- Have an undergraduate GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Be a United States citizen.
- Be eligible for Federal employment
- Be able to obtain a security clearance and pass a background check. (The SF-86 form is used for clearances)
Scholarship Requirements
If you are selected as a IUCSP CyberCorps scholarship recipient, you will be expected to:
- Maintain a 3.4 GPA
- Be a full time student, otherwise receive partial or no stipend
- Attend a variety of events
- Participate in a cybersecurity student organization
- Complete the Cybersecurity Capstone
- Complete a IUCSP CyberCorps-approved government internship during the summer after the first year
- Submit documentation periodically to the NSF and IU
- Participate in 1:1 mentoring with a faculty member
- Participate in career advising
- Travel to job fairs in Washington, DC
- Upon graduation, recipients must work in a Federal Executive Branch post-graduation for two years.
