Along with writing the children's book Lin's Uncommon Life, we created a lesson plan to be used for grades 2-4 to engage young children with the commons and Lin's research. The plan was designed to be used around Earth Day, during Women's History Month (March), or during other times when teaching children about civic engagement or the environment.
