From our Director |
Happy New Year! Warm greetings from the Ostrom Workshop, and we hope that you had a restful holiday break. We are trying something new by repackaging Polycentric Circles into a more regular newsletter to highlight upcoming events, research opportunities, and Workshop affiliate news. It’s going to be a banner year for the Workshop during which we’ll be celebrating the 30-year anniversary of Lin’s Governing the Commons, along with launching a range of new working groups, collaborations, and the re-establishment of the Workshop Advisory Council (WAC) – that’s right, the WAC is back! In short, with so much going on we want to keep all of you up to date, and as involved as you’re able to be. Our hope is that this newsletter will be a helpful vehicle to further this goal, and our thanks go to David Price for spearheading the effort. As always, please feel free to reach out directly to me with any questions/comments/suggestions (sjshacke@indiana.edu), and I hope you all have a fantastic start to the Spring term! Of course, while we love to keep our followers well-informed, if you feel your mailbox is already being overloaded, you can unsubscribe here.
