NAVEED PAYDAR is a doctoral student in the Joint PhD program in Public Policy at the School of Public & Environmental Affairs (SPEA) and the Department of Political Science at IU. His research interests include energy policy, multilevel governance, and applied econometrics. He is interested in factors that motivate firms in various industries to invest in renewable energy and energy efficiency technology, and the market potential and diffusion of sustainable technologies, such as plug-in electric vehicles. He has an ongoing theoretical interest in the Institutional Analysis and Development framework and the Social-Ecological Systems framework.
