Denise McCurdy is a veteran of the Information and Communications industry with over 35 years of experience working with Fortune 100 firms. With a professional and personal interestnin emerging technologies, Denise returned to academics to investigate blockchain, completing her doctorate in business from Georgia State University. Denise’s research includes blockchain governance using collaborative modeling, the use of technology in policing, and blockchain/Artificial Intelligence for the life sciences industry. With her background in strategy formulation, Denise has extensive experience in assembling and managing global teams to resolve challenging business problems, and counts among her clients the Gates Foundation and the Center for Global Development, P&G, British Telecom, DFM Data Inc., and a mobile money start-up in Argentina. In addition to her Doctorate in Business Administration, Denise holds a Master of Science degree in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management from Georgia State University and a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications from Michigan State University.
